Overview
Our expertise in vehicle logistics
ARS Altmann AG is passionate about logistics – our strength lies in the combination of rail and road transportation. However, the import and export of vehicles via large port terminals is also playing an increasingly important role for our group. In addition, our strategically located national and international automotive logistics hubs help us to master any challenges in the field of transport logistics.
As an exclusive partner for OEM delivery and service, we also offer a wide range of services relating to Massey Ferguson’s high-quality High & Heavy vehicles in addition to finished vehicle logistics.
Rail
With over 4,000 modern rail wagons, ARS Altmann AG moves vehicles across Europe every day. Our rail is not only the most climate-friendly, but also the most predictable pillar of your supply chain. Every week, 200 trains are on the road for us.
Road
Our company has up to 850 special trucks available for long-distance, local and distribution transport. A special role is played by the so-called last-mile routes. Car dealers, car rental companies and fleet customers receive their vehicles precisely and punctually and, of course, with the high quality standards of our group.
Automotive hub
With nine national Automotive Logistics Hubs, ARS Altmann AG has a well-structured network in Germany. Our international branches in Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic and Romania are strategically located close to the main centers of the automotive industry in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe. The aim is to continue to grow and acquire new locations.
Port terminal
Our port terminals in Italy, Ravenna and Civitavecchia, offer more than 500,000 square meters of storage space and are strategically located on the Adriatic and Tyrrhenian Seas respectively. They represent a new benchmark for integrated logistics solutions for the import/export of finished vehicles between Europe and Asia.
Delivery center
We act as a partner for dealers as well as remarketing and fleet customers. We provide a wide range of vehicle-related services in our in-house specialist workshop. We are also the exclusive partner of Massey Ferguson in Germany.
Sustainability at ARS Altmann AG - Logistics
We are aware of our social responsibility and play a pioneering role in electromobility. We are systematically driving forward the expansion of our e-fleet with targeted use in local transport and the expansion of the charging infrastructure in the form of innovative solar carports. Rail transport – our number one means of transportation – also has an important place in our sustainability strategy and helps to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions, especially on long journeys.
