Wolnzach. A career start in the world of automotive logistics with a wide range of opportunities: On September 1, 2026, seven young people began their apprenticeships at ARS Altmann AG in Wolnzach. The new cohort is spread across six professions in the industrial, business, and IT sectors. Most of the apprentices come from the immediate vicinity of Wolnzach.
This is the 38th training class at the automotive logistics company. Since 1988, more than 150 young people have launched their professional careers at ARS Altmann. The family-run company is thus one of the leading training companies for young people in the Pfaffenhofen district.

- Sofia Hausler, Freight Forwarding and Logistics Service Specialist

First Week: Local Scavenger Hunt, Company Premises, Works Council
Human Resources Specialist Andrea Brummer guided the group through their first week. The program included the “Find Fritz” scavenger hunt through Wolnzach, an exploration of the 320,000-square-metres company grounds—which feature three railway tracks and 19 truck lanes—as well as a meeting with the works council and the youth and apprentice representatives (JAV). Manfred Rakoczi explained how car transporters are loaded during a hands-on training session.
“Starting a career is a special moment,” says Jasna Dedic, HR Manager at ARS Altmann AG. “We are very excited to support our new apprentices on their journey over the coming years. It’s important to us that they feel well taken care of here, are able to learn a lot, and gradually find their own path within the company.”
In addition to their trainers, the apprentices have designated points of contact within the company: HR representative Andrea Brummer and the youth and apprentice representatives (JAV), consisting of Felix Schindler, Katharina Petz, and Georgios Siebler.
Training at ARS Altmann: Specialized Training, Trainee Events, Academy
The training program at ARS Altmann includes in-house technical training and regular trainee events. In their second year of training, trainees can attend the KUS Trainee Academy in Pfaffenhofen.
ARS Altmann AG fosters talent, and its employees consistently stand out for their outstanding achievements. This year, Michael Schöll demonstrated this: He completed his apprenticeship as an IT specialist for application development with a grade point average of 1.0 and was awarded the State Prize in Ingolstadt in July 2026.

For the 2027 training year, ARS Altmann is offering eight positions: Office Management Assistants (m/f/d), Freight Forwarding and Logistics Service Specialists (m/f/d), Automotive Mechatronics Technicians (m/f/d), Agricultural and Construction Machinery Mechatronics Technicians (m/f/d), Automotive Painters (m/f/d), IT Specialists for System Integration (m/f/d), IT Specialists for Data and Process Analysis (m/f/d), and Professional Drivers. Applications are being accepted immediately.
