Christmas bazaar at ARS Altmann raises 5000 euros for the food bank

Five days of continuous operation during the lunch break and plenty of preparatory work, which paid off: 5000 euros were raised at the Christmas bazaar of the automotive logistics company ARS Altmann and have now been handed over to the Tafel Pfaffenhofen, Wolnzach distribution point. Half of the donation was raised directly at the bazaar, plus a donation of the same amount from ARS Altmann AG.

Katrin Werther (left) presented the donation to Notburga Dierl from the food bank together with a well-filled food basket on behalf of the Waggon Accounting department, which had organized the in-house bazaar at the company’s headquarters for the second time.

Since the beginning of November, numerous Altmann employees had been working on pre-Christmas decorations, woodwork and handicrafts, Christmas cards and other creative contributions, which were then sold together with all kinds of treats. People from all departments crowded into the wagon department to buy a gift for Christmas Eve and contribute to a good cause. “We are very grateful for the donation and are delighted that so many people here locally see what we do and support us,” said Notburga Dierl from the food bank.
