Dr Maximilian Altmann talks about ARS’ future plans in “Automotive Logistics”

Celebrating 50 years of growth in the automotive logistics sector, what are the plans for ARS Altmann – as a successful international player –  in the future?

In his interview with Automotive Logistics, our CEO, Dr Maximilian Altmann, is providing answers. Precise, clear and informative.

“We want to expand. We need to make rail transport even more attractive than we do today, make it more efficient, and use larger terminals at the departure and arrival points of our European corridors”, he says.

“This means investing in infrastructure and consolidating our rail transport activities.”

He points out that “there will be investments in the expansion or construction of new terminals along our corridors”, and that our Group is advancing vertical integration, also through our new railway undertaking ART, in order to further strengthen our logistics solutions.

All this fits perfectly in our “Way to zero” strategy. The commitment to sustainability is part of our day-to-day practice.

Our new port terminals in Italy, in Ravenna and Civitavecchia, are demonstrating how the vision of future-oriented, vertically integrated logistics is becoming reality here, as well.
